Professions
Go ahead and pick a profession that your character has trained under.
- Your character has a wealth of knowledge and experience at their disposal and has probably picked up skills from a profession in their past. Feel free to make up any job you think your character could have had in their past or present
- Some Suggestions: Mechanic, Assassin, Concierge, Doctor, Professor, Bouncer, Bartender, Ex-convict, et cetera.
- Mechanically, this trait will provide a Bonus Card in situations that are relevant.
Write this word or job title under the Professions section of your character sheet.
Example: Kristin is going to go with Mechanic. She considers Engineer, and Ironworker, but prefers the connotations that Mechanic offers. In any relevant situation where being a Mechanic would help, she would be allowed to draw a Bonus Card.
That’s Kind of a Stretch
Professions are broad skill categories for your character. It can be argued that a lot of things (perhaps anything) can fall under the category of your profession. Try to keep it close to the core skills of that profession. If you’re a fisherman, don’t waste the Judge’s time by arguing that you have skills in persuading people because you have persuaded hungry people to buy fish.
